    Mari,

First of all, great job on BraveheartTV the other day!

    1) As for me, I find myself a bit overwhelmed by ALL of the choices for social media outlets and not sure which are my best avenues of approach for my business. I am also struggling to understand how to push traffic to by blog with feeds to all my other sites.
    2) I think that it social media is perfect as a platform to share knowledge and information, and if that can be monetized even better! I feel that I am called to be a coach and to share my experiences with others, but nothing is more frustrating than speaking to blank space. I believe my business will explode with rapid immersion into the marketplace.
3)You should pick me for this scholarship because I understand the value in it. I

I have passed this along to my husband – he’s on the road but very excited about it. He has a sales force that he would love to educate about social media marketing but has neither the time or expertise. I purchased the book for him and hope he can win the scholarship so he can see for himself how valuable it will be for him to get his sales team trained by you.
So, in answer to your questions:
    1. He’s stuck at square one and needs help and expertise to move forward.
2.Using social media marketing will bring a whole new dimension to how his team sells.
    3. He should get the scholarship because he may be forever stuck in the 20th century if he doesn’t.
    Thanks for your consideration!

    Mari,
    Thank you for this opportunity.
    1) Where I’m feeling stuck is right here, over there, around the corner, over the hill, next to the big oak tree, on the left, on the right, in the middle, up high and down low. (Maybe I should have put “everywhere” but that would not have been as dramatic now would it?)
I have a couple of FB accounts, several Twitter accounts and I even started a LinkedIn group that now has over 900 members. I attempt to update them all manually myself and it’s a daunting task that has not produced any tangible monetary results. I feel like a basketball player that knows how to dribble and rebound and pass the ball but not shoot and it’s frustrating.
    2) My business would benefit exponentially if I could affordably drive traffic that converts to my site through social media because I have great content and light sales people’s world on fire when I work with them but I need to remove my “candle from under the bushel basket.”
    3) Please pick me because I am a giver and a worker. I’m writing this at 4:49 am (after being up for an hour already) because I have a wife and 6 kids 12 and under that I must provide for not only physically but by example. They need to see “daddy” working hard, making it on his own by continuously learning, partnering with good people, and still giving back to the community, helping out at church, helping struggling small business owners not feel so lonely and overwhelmed. You should also pick me because I will do 100% of what you show me. I’m a trainer myself and I read every book I buy with a highlighter and at least two pens of different color next to me and a note pad and a sticky pad so I can make multiple notes for both long term review and short term action. EVERYTHING you teach me will be leveraged and multiplied and “actionized!” (And I’m a fellow So-Cal resident with an accent so we gotta stick together and show these “flat-talkers” how fun we are!)
Thank you, again, for the opportunity, Mari.

    Please “don’t publish”

I feel stuck with social media on so many different levels that is a bit over whelming. From creating a sound profile; to who I should reach out to and invite as friends or locating and posting great valued content.
I believe that the rapid immersion of high level social marketing training from the best in is field will help me in branding my self, integrate my existing direct marketing company as well as create other streams of income and affiliates. I have done some intensive research in finding the right mentors/coach that shared similar values that felt I could place my trust in. I am committed to be on every call or training session and implement all the principles and techniques taught in this course. To continue in the spirit of giving I’m also committed as soon as I am able, to sponsor someone else in to this course by paying there tuition. Some times people’s lack of taking action has nothing to do with desire or poor leadership skills. My strong desire to learn and create wealth as I liveinawareness is to help others do the same.
Mari – thank you so much for all that you do and I so much look forward to your e-mails and and posting on Facebook…
    Continued success and always blessed…

    Dave.

    1. Mari, I’m feeling stuck with Facebook/Twitter/social media is I’m feeling a crunch lately to stay on top of my social media as well as my client. Also, I’m having a tough time keeping up with some advance things such as FBML and special tools which can take my skills to the next level to get stronger clients.

As I have gotten a lot of traction now with about 750 Facebook friends, 1900 Twitter followers & 425 Linkedin Connections,
I’m becoming the shoe cobbler, but it was my activity with these networks that got me many introductions in the first place.

    2. Mari, my business would benefit most from a rapid immersion in high-level social marketing training by understanding what’s most important, building more value=driven content and most importantly learning the business side. I have been doing this business now for almost a year & ran into challenges in May as I didn’t understand how to contract things and get paid for speaking and getting the right pricing down and became a bit overwhelmed and finally see a glimmer of daylight.

Since September 2008, I have been doing too many free talks & until recently from your webinar, under valuing my Seminars at below $100.

I have several clients now …that are paying versus doing trade, & getting to point where I can take on more with the right system.

    3. Mari, I should pick you as the winner of this scholarship as I’m committed to Social Media & believe I could truly contribute to the community.
I am in a local Chapter of NSA and have come in contact with some inspiring people such as Patricia Fripp, Darren Lacroix & Sam Silverstein. I know I have the ability to use the speaking platform to pay it back … and pay it forward.
I have shown commitment by initially investing in your MWM course & have felt huge challenges starting in May that has prevented me from making the follow up payments. I have felt reluctant to participate as I knew my payments were declining as well as doing everything I can to make a life & living via Social Media for myself & my Phamily.

I have been asking the Universe for a way to continue the program and get kick-started back into MWM and I believe it has given me this opportunity.

Mari, my parents brought me over to this country on a boat after the fall of Saigon. They have spent much blood, sweat & tears to get me to where I am. I will not let them down.
I will succeed because I’m a hard worker, I’m coachable, resilient & persistent.

I have been so inspired by you Mari in particular, Gary Vaynerchuk & Sherman Hu.

    PlEASE choose me Mari.

Whatever you decide, I truly appreciate all you have taught me so far & the inspiration you have been to so many folks.
    THANK YOU!

Please only publish with Initials or “Don’t publish”

    Very sincerely yours,
    Nhat Pham

    1. I love social media and I can definitely see how it works and how well it works but my “sticking point” is getting it to work effectively for me on a consistent basis without spending endless hours on it and understanding which tool to use for what.

    2. My business would benefit in many many ways from rapid immersion training.
    – I would hope to be able to find the clients I want rather than the ones I end up with
    – I would hope to be able to use my time more effectively
    – I would hope to be able to indulge my passions for different parts of my business rather than just the ones that the same tasks over again
    – It would also enable me to be more confident in providing the right content for my clients regardless of the social media tool they wish to use.

    3. And why me as a winner of the scholarship? Well, here goes:
    – I am 100% dedicated to building my business in the right way online
    – One of my objectives over the next 10 years is to raise as much money for my charity challenges as possible and I believe social media would be a great way to go about doing this
    – I don’t believe my business or the businesses of my clients can fulfill their potential without possessing a high degree of social media expertise.
    – I will actually take action and make use of the information I glean from the training

    Thanks
    Kirsty

    1. Where you’re feeling stuck with Facebook/Twitter/social media.
I feel stuck in pulling it all together in a focus.I can use the tools and have fun but am missing the final key

    2. How you think your business would benefit most from a rapid immersion in high-level social marketing training.

I would hope that there would be a laser focus and high energy and less ADD

    3. Why I should pick you as the winner of this scholarship.
    I am dedicated and faithful.

You were probably my first entry point into the wider world of social media beyond people I know in person. In spite of not being one of your students I often promote/endorse(I send out your links and videos) your work and your person as I am a big fan of how you do things.(fun, accessible, clear, integrity, success tracks coach, great journey, generous plus the Canadian link is an added bonus)I am an excellent evangelist.

Hi Mari, thank you for this great opportunity! 🙂

    1.Where you’re feeling stuck with Facebook/Twitter/social media.
    — Twitter: I am finding it hard to keep up with all my followers. I’m getting a huge amount each day and wonder how on earth I keep up? I am behind on following and DM and think there must be an easy way to manage it all?
    — Facebook: I haven’t started yet… I signed up for your Facebook Marketing Tips (up to 5 of 7), and it is on my list to implement it this weekend. I’ve held back as it is unfamiliar to me and I don’t want my Facebook site to be bare of videos! Maybe that doesn’t really matter so much at the moment?
    — Social Media: Basically managing it all. I am new to attraction marketing and social media and I am concerned about having to spend hours each day on managing the admin side of things. I realise there must be automated systems, but I need to find them. I recently designed and published my blog, which I will be adding to very frequently, so that’s the first step! 🙂

2.How you think your business would benefit most from a rapid immersion in high-level social marketing training.
    — I need to transition from traditional business into network marketing / direct sales; harnessing the power of social marketing. I realise and understand the power behind providing free quality content to visitors / subscribers; in fact, I love doing this as I love to give freely. I see it as an extension of who I am, and social marketing will give me a platform to “speak” directly to people who are interested in my topic, and to do it FAST. I really look forward to attracting like-minded individuals into my business which, I believe, will be achieved through social marketing.

3.Why I should pick you as the winner of this scholarship
    — Hmmm. Hard question! 🙂 I am open to learning, acknowledge my mentors, and when I love what someone teaches me, they’re my mentor for life and I love sharing this with my network. I will diligently put into practise what you preach; even if it’s outside of my comfort zone. I’m a risk taker and importantly, I take action. I would love to be one your students! 🙂
