Facebook Fundraising: How YOU Can Help Make A Difference With The Coinjars App!

image My Facebook friend, Sara Waller, is part of the brainpower behind the Facebook app, Coinjars.

Coinjars provides a way to move iCoins around the internet without incurring ANY charges! iCoins are REAL money. You can use Coinjars as a super simple and secure way to collect donations or take payments on Facebook.

What are Coinjars?

The Coinjars application provides a mechanism for the FREE movement of funds down to as little as 1c (US) between users and to merchants. The Coinjars application on Facebook uses iCoins, an online currency that you can spend and send around the world, FAST, SAFELY and for free! Coinjars is an iCoins ‘wallet’ on Facebook.

iCoins are just like real money: buy an iCoin for US$1 and it’s worth US$1 in real-world cash. The big difference is that you can send iCoins INSTANTLY and WITHOUT BANK CHARGES! We also connect disparate wallets – similar to the SWIFT and IBAN facility in international bank transfers.

By converting your money into iCoins, you avoid the charges and delays normally involved in international bank transfers.

Help Raise Funds Without Spending A Penny!

iCoins have pledged $1 to Soft Power Education for every friend of MARI SMITH who signs up for Sara’s Facebook Fundraising Tips ebook and adds the Coinjars app.

Here’s the simple 3-step process to help make a difference today. It will not cost you a penny – just a minute or two of your time:

  1. image Click here to see the Slideshare version of Facebook Fundraising Tips.

By the way, this is not a skimpy eBook with flimsy content. It’s a thick eBook packed with ideas for both fundraising and general business marketing using social media. Sara also has a generous autoresponder series when you sign up from which you’ll learn a ton more fundraising and Facebook marketing ideas!
  2. Click here to add the Coinjars Facebook app. You don’t have to invite any friends to install the app… unless you want to. Just you installing the app is enough to trigger a $1 donation to charity!
  3. Write a wall post on the app page. Once you’ve added the app, WRITE A WALL POST on the app page here to the effect you’re a friend of MARI SMITH and you’ve installed the app. iCoins will then donate $1 to Soft Power Education – providing kids in Uganda with tons of support. $1000 is enough to refurbish one whole classroom block.

Sara is one of my Facebook for Professionals students and is doing exceptionally well with her marketing and this project.

Also, check out this 3.5 minute video about Soft Power Education and Coinjars.

Let me know your thoughts on this philanthropic angle. And, how could YOU use Coinjars to raise funds for a special cause or someone in need, for example? Or what creative ways could you use Coinjars to transfer funds digitally? But wait… before you comment – go take those three action steps above!
